DC Holistic Wellness opened it's doors in August 2019. We are the first dispensary in Washington DC solely owned by a black man. We've hosted two community focused block parties that infused music, art, fashion and food into the festivities. These events have highlighted all the positive aspects of community, culture and cannabis.

Our dispensary currently provides patient care and jobs. We'll soon have a safe space for medical cannabis use upstairs. As a patient first, Norbert believes in the healing power of cannabis. We feel medical cannabis should be accessible to people as an alternative to pharmaceuticals. Cannabis provides healing and restorative properties for a wide range of ailments, and illnesses, giving patients and consumers a natural alternative to achieving all around wellness. Cannabliss offers a wide range of premium holistic products for patients living in the District of Columbia and offers reciprocity for all states that have a medical cannabis program. To further support the health and wellness of our community, First Call Urgent Care is coming in 2020 and will be housed next to the dispensary offering Kush-free primary care services to residents living in the East End of the city. In addition to community and cannabis, Cannabliss also champions cultural development through art, music and entertainment helping to promote talent in all its dynamic forms.
The renovated Dave Brown Liquor store will be a space where people can access cannabis and experience a full spectrum of health and wellness benefits.
Cannabliss will be a tourist destination amidst Washington DC’s rich culture, offering premium products, merchandise, and information, while providing accessible and safe cannabis care.
Winning the coveted license to own a dispensary in Ward 7 was not an easy task. We continue to work tirelessly within the guidelines of the law to ensure that Cannabliss and DC Holistic Wellness reign as a premier black owned cannabis brand and dispensary, passing all necessary regulations and checks.
“As black people, the cannabis industry is an industry that we’ve been notoriously left out of, where this is an opportunity for us to build a special expertise.”
